The first plots of vines of Château Cambon were planted between Morgon and Brouilly during the First World War by womens while the mens were away at war. In 1995, the 13 hectares of the Domaine located in Belleville-en-Beaujolais were bought by Marcel and Marie Lapierre, from the mythical Domaine Lapierre, and their friends Jean-Claude and Geneviève Chanudet from Domaine Chamonard.
This amazing terroir is a composition of clay granite and limestone sand. The domain is organic and has been practicing biodynamics since the beginning of its history. Under the “Beaujolais” appellation, the wines of this domain are a blend of fruity and gourmand gamays and elegant and mineral chardonnays.
