Alexis Hudon, originally from Quebec, is a sommelier by training. He became a winemaker in 2015 after completing his wine education and meeting several winemakers. He began by creating his own winery by buying organic grapes from friends in Touraine, Saumur and Nantes while participating in the work in the vineyard and the harvest.

Today he has his own vineyards on the Montaillant estate, not far from Bourges, in the Côtes de la Charité appellation. Everything is conducted in organic agriculture, using herbal teas to treat the vines and in the cellar, a vinification without inputs except a small dose of sulfur.
