Marie et Florian Curtet
Domaine Curtet
Motz, Savoie

Marie and Florian Curtet have taken over Jacques Maillet’s estate on the edge of the Rhône, after having worked there for a few years. It is on the steep slopes of Chautagnes, in Savoie, that the two winegrowers cultivate nearly 7 hectares of vines straddling 3 hillsides located in Motz and Serrières-en-Chautagne in Savoie. All of this is done in organic agriculture and according to biodynamic principles.

Like Jacques Maillet before them, Marie and Florian focus on protecting the life of the soil, the most important point for them. “Our wine is an intimate representation of our values as farmers, winemakers and people. It is made only from our grapes, without any artifice, with the only claim to tell a story. That of a human, diversified, nourishing, autonomous, fertile and sustainable viticulture.

Balanced vintages, which reveal themselves on the tension, the finesse of the aromas and the minerality.
