Originally from Bourgogne, Maxime Magnon settled in 2002 in Villeneuve-le-Corbières and runs a 14-hectare estate on the magnificent terroirs of the Paradise Valley in the south of the appellation.

Maxime works in the villages of Villeneuve des Corbières, Durban and Cascastel, on soils dominated by clay and schist. He lets his sheeps and his Jersey cows graze in the vineyards during the winter to promote the microbial life of the soil.

His wines are a blend of several grape varieties: carignan, cinsault, white grenache, grey grenache, black grenache, macabeu and syrah. Vintages characterized by a great freshness, a fruity taste and a fine texture, all with great balance and precision.
