Dakishvili Family Estate, founded by Ogi Dakishvili and his sons, is located in the village of Shalauri, Georgia. Through the wine they produce, the Dakishvili family is committed to paying homage to low-intervention winemaking and viticulture while expressing the finesse and elegance of its creators.

The vineyards, located on the slopes of the Kondoli Valley, enjoy a microclimate and beautiful sun exposure, which allows for healthy vines with concentrated fruit. The vines are planted at a relatively high altitude, at least 400 meters, and produce a smaller amount of fruit, resulting a very limited production available. 

Despite the threat of the Soviet Union during dark times, the Dakishvili family has never abandoned their love for wine and has continued to carry on the legacy of their ancestors so that younger generations can honor the family’s wine-making traditions.
